Diversidad Bioconstructiva Transfronteriza, Edificación Bioclimática y su adapatación a la Arquitectura y Urbanismo Moderno

The BIOURB project studies the diversity of traditional Bio-climatic design and develops bioclimatic models, in an effort to contribute to the introduction of adequate design solutions into the existent guidelines and standards at both sides of the Portuguese-Spanish border. Studies cover both the effects of buildings' envelop attributes and the contributing factors by the urban climate. Based on its conclusions, this project will also try to: promote the existent bioclimatic buildings, foster the rehabilitation of the less adequate ones, while promote a wide spread in the use of bioclimatic solutions. As a result, this project will produce several catalogs, manuals and thematic routes.
