The AQUARIPORT Project was developed to the “Evaluation of Ecological Quality in Portuguese Rivers based on Fish Communities”. This project will contribute to the sustainable management of aquatic resources and to do a better regulation of the fishing activities. Continuous monitoring is essential for measure the ecological quality of streams and rivers, considering the evaluation of abiotic (chemical and physical) and biotic parameters.
